Meet the Team - Laura Goodwin

Category News

Laura is an incredibly family-orientated agent, who has grown up in real estate. Her brother is our Principal Grant Campbell and the two share a knack for anything property. She is a natural lister and the best in our group. Working in a team with Phyliss, they are unstoppable and have recently just closed a R22 000 000.00 deal!

More about Laura in her own words:

We are probably one of the loudest and largest families on the North Coast. Lance and I have six kids between us, and funnily enough, they are all the same ages - 20, 17 and 12! Our blended family includes three girls and three boys.

It certainly makes it interesting when we get together for the holidays. My son, Brighton (12) is, without a doubt, the clown of the household. He attends Umhlali Prep and is an avid rugby player, recently attending the St. Stithians Rugby Festival. We did have a good laugh as he was convinced there would be "fans" at the airport to cheer him on his way - a clear hint that in the future, that's most likely going to be the case!

Lance's kids reside in Cape Town, and we try to see them as often as possible. Matthew (20) is currently on a yachting course. Sheradyn (20) resides in Johannesburg and followed in my footsteps, with property being her passion. In my domain, I am a resident agent at Seaward, and I am available 24/7 to assist and advise regarding sales or rentals, however I list properties throughout the Dolphin Coast.

We are exceptionally happy in Seaward! My son loves the park and spends most afternoons practising his rugby skills - just perfect for a hyperactive boy! We love to have family afternoon walks around Seaward too. With a typical teenage daughter being 17, she bounces between the bedroom and fridge. We do occasionally get to see her when load-shedding occurs, and the Wi-Fi is down, so that's a plus! I'm known as the panic mechanic mom, so having the hospital next door is definitely a bonus for me. Lance is away a lot, and I feel very safe in the Estate. The property prices are also very affordable! Living close to the beach is such a treat as fishing is our favourite thing to do and camping in Vidal.

We have two sphinxes, Hlatini and Sikhoten. They have Zulu names meaning Shrub and Bush. Lance loves his cats and often says "yes to claws and no to paws". I'm more of a dog person, and I absolutely adore our little old pug. His name is Diesel, and he's 15 years old, and not to forget he is a very good boy! As you can see, we have a pretty big family, and I'm grateful for that. There's always a lot going on to keep me on my toes, and living in Ballito brings out more in our quality of life.
